By going on line to www.UKBedandBreakfasts.co.uk I was able to find a great bed and breakfast in Dumfries, Scotland. I was fascinated by the name “Dumfries” for a town and just had to make it one of my vacation stops. I must tell you I was not disappointed. Besides great accommodations there was some really nice place to visit and take pictures I saw the Solway Coast, Sweetheart Abbery, Criffel hill, Threave Castle, Caerlaverock Castle and Drumlanrig Castle. Of all this I think I rather enjoyed the visit to the Drumlanrig Castle the most. I had never had an opportunity to wander through a castle before and I took a ton of pictures.
