The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) has been one of the more widely known organizations to take part in the debate over illegal immigration. As many people in the country try to decide where they stand on this heated issues, FAIR has listed many of its policies for people to see (whether they agree with them or not).
FAIR was created to try and change the current immigration policies of the country. They have stated that uncontrollable levels of immigration can have a detrimental impact on the employment levels, education systems, and government budgets of the country. In order to stop illegal immigration they believe there must be more investments in technological upgrades, improved border security, and possibly a complete moratorium on immigration until the issues is resolved. They have certainly become one of the “faces” for that side of the debate.
