In any court trial involving car accident cases, the attorneys are trying to present their case to the jury by exposing the truth of the matter. As people are called from both sides of the case, they are asked to tell the truth and only the facts. They are barred from giving their opinion and stating that it is factual. This is when many objections occur in the courtroom. When an accident reconstruction expert witness is giving testimony, he is allowed to give his opinion based on the facts of his findings. Because it is an opinion, his conclusion will be challenged by the opposing side in their cross examination.
