My grandparents are pretty amazing people. They live clear across the country, but they always try to keep in touch, especially for birthdays and holidays. We never know exactly what we will be receiving, but it is always something special. Grandpa is a coin collector, and recently he has tried to interest us in his hobby by sending an occasional coin with a little note explaining its value. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get 2010 Silver Eagles this year because my grandfather has already been talking about the value of these newly minted coins. At first, I wasn’t really interested, but as I get older, Grandpa’s hobby may be rubbing off on me.
