When my husband started his new job a few months ago, we had to fill out paperwork for his insurance policies. Something we didn’t expect to get was life insurance, but when we found out that was offered, we decided to call our life insurance company and cancel the policy we were paying for. Our agent tried to tell us that it would be a good idea to keep both life insurance policies, but we decided we didn’t want to pay for that one, when we were getting another one with better coverage for free. So we went ahead and cancelled it, and we think it was the right decision.
