I remember years ago when I used to download music. Some of the quality was pretty bad and it came with all sorts of spy ware and viruses and I am not sure how much of it was really even legal. I am curious about what is out there these days. During a recent search I read about ares. The article made it sound like the next best thing in file sharing. I am thinking that it would have to be better than the things that I used in the past, so what do I have to lose by trying it out?

My mother used to play the guitar and one day I found it in the basement when she and I were cleaning.  I had never heard her play before and she was embarrassed to show me because it had been so long since she had.  After she went online and found a great site that had free guitar lessons she really started playing a lot.  She is so good I can’t imagine why she ever stopped playing. I do know that now that she is playing again she has been very happy.  I would now like to learn to play myself.

I have had many jobs in my life, but I know that one of them that I want to do more than any of the others is to play gospel guitar. I just love it so much because I am able to do things that are much better with my time. I love music, and I know that if that is my job, I can spend time just doing that. So, I am going to make sure to take the time to do that. I know that will really help me to do what I need to do as often as I can.

There is noting more enjoyable to me than listening to some passionate acoustic music. It really gets to the depth of my soul, and helps me figure out life. I love all types of music, but acoustic songs seem to really hit the spot for me. I just love how they are generally simple, unique, and raw.

I’ve been to many concerts of all types, and still got the most out of acoustic songs at concerts. There is something magical about someone up there, normally bearing their soul, with just a guitar and their voice. I’ve even loved the piano more recently. The concerts are the times I really can connect with the acoustic artist. I’m really glad that there are artists out there putting out their acoustic music.

In 1990, After a summer in Paris, I relocated to New York and worked and studied at SVA under the tutelage of Thomas Roma and Sidney Kaplan, where I solidified my aesthetic and followed in the traditions of Garry Winogrand, Lee Friedlander and Tine Barney, three greats whose work I try to emulate every day. Now, nearly two decades later, thousands of rolls of film, colossal failures and a dizzying successes, my own accomplishments include my work being collected by the Corcoran, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Center for Photography at Woodstock, the New York Public Library, and most recently, The Library of Congress. Recently, Agnes Gund purchased one of my pieces for her private collection. Now, my career in documentary-style photography brigs with it these two decades of training, and my love of the hunt, the perfect, decisive photographic moment that will be revealed to me in just the right way and at just the right time. My nyc wedding photo business exists to serve this purpose.

I know that I would love to do more things in music. It just seems like there are a lot of ways for me to learn, but I have not had the time to really do that. That is why I am going to take the time to really get to know how to play acoustic guitar. It just seems like it will take some time for me to be able to do that. Once I am able to learn the right way, I know it will be something that will help me just to keep working and having more things to come.

I’ve gone with several friends when they’ve gotten their tattoos and every time, I have contemplated getting one also.  Since I’ve referred so many people to one place in particular, the artist there has even offered to do mine for no charge.  So, why is it that I’m almost 47 and still haven’t gotten one?  The decision of what to get has had me stuck.  While we are in the shop, I go over page after page of designs.  Maybe I take it a little too seriously whereas some of my friends have done them on a whim.  I finally found some online that I think will prompt me to have it done.  They are frangipani tattoo designs.  As I read about it, I realized, it’s the plumeria flower that is used in Hawaii to make leis. Beautiful, elegant and simple…  perfect for me.

So, I am in the middle of a guitar lesson and my baby starts crying. What do I do? If I am taking Online Guitar Lessons, it is no problem. I simply pause the lesson, take care of the baby, and come back to the lessons when she is happy again. I think that’s what I love the most about taking lessons on the Internet. I can continue with my life while I take them. There is no teacher to be kept waiting, no other students to disturb, and no one looking over my shoulder. I would pay anything to get these advantages, but the lessons are actually cheaper than having a private tutor.
